Research Interest
I joined the staff of the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health (UIC SPH) in 2008 as a program developer for continuing education and outreach efforts in its Illinois Education & Research Center. I also have an appointment as an Instructor in the UIC SPH Environmental & Occupational Safety and Health Sciences Division. At the Illinois ERC I respond to requests from labor unions, worker centers, faith based organizations, non-profit workforce development organizations, and community groups to develop customized curricula and train-the-trainer workshops to build their organizational capacity to address workplace hazards.
