Emerging Contaminants in the Environment Conference
Abstract Submission Deadline Extended
Please share this announcement widely with your networks.
Due to the virtual format of the 2024 Emerging Contaminants in the Environment Conference, we are able to accommodate more traditional (15 minute) and lightning (5 minute) talks. We have re-opened the abstract submission from, and are soliciting additional talks on emerging contaminants research, public health, policy, management, environmental justice, outreach, and education. The conference committee is particularly interested in talks focused on the following emerging contaminants:
- Pharmaceuticals and personal care products
- Marine debris and microplastics
- Algal toxins
- Agricultural chemicals
- Other emerging contaminants (e.g., 6PPD-quinone)
Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts for either traditional or lightning talks. There will be no poster session.
Abstracts will be accepted on a rolling basis until all speaking slots are filled, no later than February 29, 2024.
