Solving complex research (bio-) informatics problems in the realms of sequence based informatics; e.g. amplicon sequencing, denovo genome assembly, shotgun meta-genomics, and meta-transcriptomics; mass-spectrometry; e.g. metabolomics and proteomics, as well as a number of other sources of data. Finding new ways to process and interpret the data as well as methods to incorporate different data sources into a more unified analysis.
